Over 25 years of practicing law, Karin Burrows has tried and settled numerous cases that have resulted in tens of millions of dollars of recoveries for his clients.
Since coming to the Bar in 2016 Pat has built a diverse practice in civil and family law. From 2017 to 2020 she has been the Secretary and Treasurer of the British Bar Association.
Karin appears in trial matters frequently in the District Court and Supreme Court of NSW, and in the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court of Australia. She has appeared as junior counsel in appellate matters in the Full Court of the Family Court, the NSW Court of Appeal and the High Court.
Karin appears frequently in both parenting and property matters in the family jurisdiction, including for the NSW Department of Communities and Justice. In civil matters Pat frequently appears in personal injury, commercial, equity, construction and wills and estates matters. Karin has developed a speciality in matters that intersect the boundary of civil and family jurisdictions.
